Education:
- A Postgraduate qualification in Finance, Accounting or Economics or an MBA is required.
- Certifications & Licenses (highly preferred in Kenya)
- Certified in CPA-K, ACCA, or CIMA
Registered member of ICPAK
MBA or strategic finance certification is an added advantage
Job Experience & Skills Required:
- Minimum 10 years experience in finance roles & 5+ years in senior or executive positions
- Experience in audit firms (Big Four preferred) or structured finance teams
- Proven track record in managing large-scale budgets and leading finance departments
- Proven experience in compliance leadership and external audit management
- Strong ethical foundation and sound judgment in financial decision-making
- Ability to engage boards and executive teams with clear, actionable insights
- Sector experience in FMCG, manufacturing, financial services or multinationals
- Familiarity with regulatory frameworks: CBK, ICPAK, KRA, and international audit practices
