Our client is a leading Asset Management company licensed and regulated as a fund manager by the Capital Markets Authority (CMA) and the Retirement Benefits Authority (RBA). They are looking to hire a Financial Analyst responsible for analyzing financial data and supporting budgeting efforts, including preparing financial reports, monitoring financial trends, and making recommendations to improve financial performance.

Key Responsibilities:
- Data Analysis: Collect, analyze, and interpret financial data to identify trends, assess performance, and forecast future outcomes.
- Financial Modeling: Develop and maintain financial models to support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning.
- Investment Analysis: Evaluate investment opportunities, assess risks and returns, and recommend investment strategies.
- Reporting and Communication: Prepare financial reports, presentations, and recommendations for management and stakeholders.
- Risk Management: Identify and assess financial risks and recommend mitigation strategies.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and policies.
- Collaboration: Work with other departments and teams to support business objectives.
Qualifications
- Education: A bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field is typically required.
- Certifications: Professional certifications such as CIFA, CFA and CPA will be an added advantage
- Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in financial modeling, data analysis, and spreadsheet software (e.g., Excel).
- Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze complex financial data and draw meaningful conclusions.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively present findings and recommendations.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to identify and resolve financial issues and challenges.
- Industry Knowledge: Understanding of the Kenyan financial market and regulatory environment.
