Responsible for processing and maintaining financial records, preparing financial reports, examining payment documents, supporting budgeting and expenditure control, reconciling accounts, maintaining ledgers, and assisting with financial audits and compliance activities. Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field, with relevant accounting experience and strong financial management, analytical, computer, record-keeping, and reporting skills. The position is based in Elgeyo Marakwet, Kenya and requires on-site work.

Key Responsibilities

• Compiling and formatting financial estimates; taking initial action on budget monetary and preparing reports and briefs on budgetary issues.

Qualifications

For appointment to this grade, an applicant MUST have;

•  A Bachelor’s Degree in either Commerce (Finance option), Economics, Business Administration, Business Management or Finance  

 OR

• Any other Bachelor’s degree with certified Public Accountant II
