- Manage budgeting processes, financial analysis, and performance monitoring.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations, accounting standards, and internal policies.
Internal Controls & Risk Management
- Establish, implement, and continuously strengthen internal financial controls.
- Safeguard company assets through strong governance and financial discipline.
- Identify financial risks and develop mitigation strategies to protect business sustainability.
Distribution & Operational Finance
- Provide financial oversight within a distribution-driven business model.
- Analyze margins, inventory flows, logistics costs, and operational efficiency.
- Partner with operations and supply chain teams to improve profitability and cost management.
Leadership & People Management
- Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team to achieve high performance.
- Foster a culture of accountability, accuracy, and continuous improvement.
- Drive collaboration between finance and other departments.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Professional qualification such as CPA (K), ACCA, or equivalent.
- 7+ years of progressive finance experience, with at least 3–5 years in a senior leadership or management role.
- Demonstrated experience in distribution, supply chain, FMCG, agribusiness, or logistics environments.
- Proven track record in people management and team leadership.
- Strong expertise in internal controls, financial governance, and risk management.
- Excellent financial analysis, strategic thinking, and decision-making skills.
