Job Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Housekeeping Executive to join our team. In this pivotal role, you will lead our housekeeping operations, ensuring exceptional cleanliness standards, guest satisfaction, and operational excellence. You will oversee daily housekeeping activities, manage staff effectively, and drive continuous improvement initiatives while maintaining the highest standards of hygiene and professionalism across all areas of the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and optimize housekeeping operations to ensure consistent cleanliness and hygiene standards throughout all areas of the facility
• Lead, supervise, and motivate the housekeeping team, providing coaching, training, and performance feedback to foster professional development and maintain high morale
• Plan and organize work schedules, staff assignments, and vacation planning to maximize productivity and resource allocation
• Respond promptly and efficiently to guest requests and requirements, ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction and service delivery
• Implement and enforce company policies, standard operating procedures, and health and safety protocols across all departmental activities
• Conduct regular quality inspections and audits to maintain compliance with organizational standards and identify areas for improvement
• Manage housekeeping budgets, control costs, and recommend process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and departmental productivity
• Maintain accurate documentation, records, and reports related to staff performance, inventory, and departmental operations
• Collaborate with other departments to address guest concerns and coordinate special requests or events
• Identify and recommend changes in methods, equipment, staffing, or procedures to improve departmental standards and overall performance
• Escalate critical matters affecting organizational interests to management with transparency and professionalism

Qualifications

• Previous Housekeeping management experience, in a similar role is essential.
• Experienced in the luxurymarket, previous 5 Star experience essential.
• Strong operational background with experience in the implementation and management of brand standards.
• Experience in the coaching anddevelopment of a professional management team.
• Sound knowledge of Opera and Microsoft applications.
• Proven experience with cost control including payroll, expenses and forecasting.
• Well groomed & articulate in communication.
• Fluent written and spoken English
• Excellent time management, organisational skills and ability to work autonomously.
