Executive Chef Job Gaslronome
The Gastronome Ltd is a busy commercial catering business producing around 1,500 meals a day across 8 contracts and 3 main kitchens. We’re looking for a hands-on Executive Chef to take full culinary and operational leadership of the entire business – driving quality, food safety, creativity and cost discipline at scale.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead all production across 8 contracts and 3 kitchens, including our
- flagship Ridgeways Head Office (1,000 meals/day, 5 contracts, 7 locations).
- Build, lead and develop a strong, high-performing production team.
- Create and execute creative, well-costed menus at high volume.
- Own food safety and hygiene compliance through HACCP-based systems.
- Drive strong cost, stock and margin controls across every contract.
Qualifications & Experience
- At least 10 years’ experience in commercial catering focused on mass
- production or banqueting.
- HACCP training and certification, plus other food safety qualifications including ISO 22000:2018.
- Proven leadership of multi-site, high-volume kitchen teams.
- Creativity in menu design balanced with strong commercial discipline.
- Exceptional attention to detail and the drive to thrive under pressure.
