Description

The Event Associate supports the smooth execution of on-site and virtual events by handling logistical, operational, and administrative tasks across the event lifecycle. Working closely with the Deputy HOD BD and technical teams, the Event Associate ensures seamless planning, execution, and post-event activities. This role contributes to business growth through efficient coordination and client satisfaction.

  • Bachelor’s degree in any field; a Diploma in Project Management is an added advantage.
  • At least 2 years of experience in organizing and managing events.
  • Ability to professionally interact with diverse internal and external stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with event technologies, including AV, projection, audio, and lighting equipment.
  • Strong skills in communication, planning, and time management.
  • Proficiency in presentation software and desktop publishing tools.
  • Responsibilities
  • Coordinate event logistics, including travel, team movement, sleeping arrangements, and event setups.
  • Manage correspondence with event teams and suppliers to ensure smooth communication.
  • Oversee the dismantling and removal of event materials post-event, ensuring the venue is cleared efficiently.
  • Maintain and update internal tools such as the events calendar, technical deliverables tracker, and client feedback forms.
  • Ensure all team members are in proper safety gear during events.
  • Organize necessary facilities, such as security, first aid, and hospitality.
  • Coordinate the acquisition of relevant licenses and permits before events.
  • Conduct market and client research to identify upselling opportunities for events.
  • Assist the sales team by ensuring the optimal number of casuals are engaged for events.
  • Source potential event service providers and submit them for approval.
  • Develop and share a monthly report on potential growth opportunities.
