Environmental Engineer Job Kisumu CPSB

Duties and Responsibilities: 

• Plan, design, and supervise environmental engineering projects (waste management, drainage, wastewater, climate adaptation infrastructure) 
• Conduct Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA) and audits 
• Develop pollution control and environmental mitigation systems (iv) Monitor compliance of County projects with environmental regulations 
• Prepare technical reports, risk assessments, and environmental briefs 
• Support implementation of environmental policies and NEMA recommendations (vii) Lead climate resilience initiatives 
• Perform any other duties as assigned 

Requirements

• Kenyan Citizenship 
• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering or related field
• Registered or eligible for registration as Graduate Engineer with EBK
• Minimum 3 years relevant experience 
• EIA/EA certification by NEMA is an added advantage 
• Knowledge of EMCA 1999, Water Act, Climate Change Act (vii) Proficiency in environmental modelling and design software
