  • Support in registration of project target participants at household or community level when called for.
  • Administering quantitative and qualitative data collection and leading qualitative discussions for research work commissioned by WHH.
  • Transcribing, data cleaning, and supporting reporting during surveys and general research work
  • Participate in enumerators’ training organized by WHH or External Consultants to familiarize yourself with data collection tools before actual field data collection.
  • Conduct surveys, interviews, and focus group discussions as per the project guidelines.
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of information/data gathered and recorded through the survey process.
  • Communicate promptly and regularly with the supervisor on the progress of activities, including any or all challenges, achievements, or support needed.
  • Uphold all WHH code of conduct principles, policies, research ethics, and evaluation duties as outlined during training.
  • Perform any other duties related to field data collection as may be assigned by the WHH programs and the MEAL team.
  • Certificate/Diploma or Degree in Monitoring and Evaluation, Social work, Community Development, Sociology, Community Health, Research, or a related discipline, Statistics, Computer science, Information technology, Data and Information Management, and other related fields
  • Basic skills in computer applications, Microsoft Office tools, functional operation of digital gadgets, and data collection platforms.
  • Practical application skills in working with Akvoflow, Commcare, and ODK/Kobo Collect will be an added advantage.
  • Previous experience in data collection will be an added advantage.
  • Proven research experience with the ability to produce clear and well-structured reports.
  • Ability to work independently with self-discipline – Conducting fieldwork with minimal supervision while adhering to protocols
  • Strong research, communication (oral & written), and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to engage effectively with respondents and collect accurate data.
  • Team player
  • Hands-on experience in community work, particularly in direct project participants
  • engagement.
  • Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments, managing tasks efficiently under pressure.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in handling data
  • Ability to uphold professional ethics in data collection and management
  • Should be a resident of the region and well conversant with the Geographical layout of the project coverage areas
  • Ability to understand and speak the local languages is an added advantage
