Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain virtual infrastructure, including planning, deployment, configuration, and administration of heterogeneous environments.
- Administer and troubleshoot storage solutions from vendors such as IBM, Dell EMC, NetApp, and Huawei.
- Manage and support compute infrastructure, including servers from Lenovo, IBM, HP, and Dell.
- Administer and troubleshoot one of the following operating systems: Linux, AIX, or Redhat.
- Plan, deploy, configure, and administer heterogeneous virtual environments.
- Collaborate with Network and Security teams to facilitate task completion and ensure seamless infrastructure operation.
- Manage and support one of the following virtualisation platforms: Hyper-V, Red Hat Virtualisation, or OpenShift.
- Manage and support one of the following public cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, OCI, GCP, or Huawei Cloud.
- Administer and troubleshoot backup solutions from vendors such as Veritas Netbackup, CommVault, Networker, and Veeam.
- Independently manage customer accounts, ensuring high levels of satisfaction.
- Serve as a primary technical point of contact for customers, demonstrating excellent communication skills.
- Maintain strong technical knowledge and proactively seek opportunities to learn new technologies.
- Provide exceptional customer service with a strong focus on achieving customer satisfaction.
- Utilise strong problem-solving skills to ensure quick and effective resolution of technical issues.
- Be flexible to accommodate work schedules that may include nights, weekends, or holidays as needed.
- Adhere to processes and maintain meticulous attention to detail while managing multiple tasks.
- Apply strong critical thinking and troubleshooting skills to identify problems and take appropriate action with minimal supervision.
- Demonstrate self-motivation and a proactive approach to learning new technologies and skills to enhance customer support.
- Collaborate effectively within a team environment.
- Demonstrate proficiency in hardware, software, and operating systems environments.
- Showcase and conduct Product Proof of Concepts (POCs) to both colleagues and customers.

Work Experience:
- A Minimum of 4 years or More in managing and supporting heterogeneous virtual, storage, and compute environments.
- Up to 5 years of proven experience in Storage administration (experience with IBM, Dell EMC, NetApp, or Huawei is a plus).
- Up to 5 years of proven experience in Compute administration(experience with Lenovo/IBM/HP/Dell servers is a plus).
- Up to 5 years of experience working with Linux, AIX, or Red Hat operating systems.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT or related field.
- VMware Certified Professional preferred EMC preferred.
Dell EMC Unity, Dell EMC Powerstore, PowerMax/VMAX certifications. Data Domain Specialist. Backup Recovery – Avamar Specialist, IDPA, Dell PowerProtect CommVault, HPE and Veeam certifications are add-on and preferred. - Public Cloud Certification and knowledge on AWS, Google, Azure, Oracle Cloud will be added on.
- Experience on Openshift, Vmware Tanzu, Kubernetes, Docker, Containers etc will be added on.
- Up to 5 years of proven experience in Virtualization.
- Up to 5 years of proven experience in Storage administration (experience with IBM, Dell EMC, NetApp, or Huawei is a plus).
- Up to 5 years of proven experience in Compute administration (experience with Lenovo/IBM/HP/Dell servers is a plus).
- Up to 5 years of experience working with Linux, AIX, or Redhat operating systems.
- Experience in planning, deploying, configuring, and administering heterogeneous virtual environments.
- Basic understanding of networking principles and the ability to liaise with
- Network and Security teams.
- Hands-on experience with one of the following virtualisation platforms: Hyper-V, Red Hat Virtualisation, or OpenShift.
