Reporting to the Network Assurance Manager, the role holder will be responsible for providing independent assurance to the business on Network quality on all network sites (2G/3G/LTE/FTTx) and providing assurance to the business on Platform Integrity.

  • Capacity monitoring and reporting for access nodes (Core/BSC/RNC/eNodeB, FTTx nodes and related transport network). 
  • Management of GSM and FTTx customer complaints via investigative drive tests and escalations to the technical teams. 
  • Perform network quality checks on Access network elements (Radio network) and relate to customer experience and revenue performance.
  • FTTx ecosystem integrity assurance (Billing, Customer product configuration, usage trends). Follow up on all issues picked to closure. 
  • Follow up on network issues raised from Benchmarking Programs to ensure best network in the country. 
  • Generate insights on FTTx performance and advise the business on possible impact on revenue. 
  • Research, test and document new network parameters and features as related to 2G/3G/4G/5G. 
  • Detect, document, investigate and follow up until resolution all quality-of-service issues. 
  • Daily Access Network (2G/3G/LTE/FTTx) performance monitoring & reporting. 
  • Network Traffic statistics analysis in line with voice and data campaigns to assure service availability, capacity readiness and revenue effect. 
  • Reporting to network engineering team on all anomalies affecting general performance and revenues for rectification.
  • Platform Integrity; identify and report misalignment of customer profile in key systems that store customer data and have potential of revenue loss or negatively impact customer experience.

  • A graduate with a degree in Engineering or IT with at least 3 years’ experience in a telecommunication firm. 
  • Ability to analyze significant amounts of data and information and be able to monitor and explain trends. 
  • Strong business acumen and analytical skills.
  • Developed interpersonal and communication skills.  
  • High level experience and skills working with stakeholders.  
  • Result and detail oriented.
