Elementary Teacher Job
This is a full-time on-site role for an Elementary Teacher at Princeton Preparatory Schools located in Nairobi County, Kenya. The Elementary Teacher will be responsible for developing and implementing curriculum, delivering engaging and effective instruction, assessing student progress, and fostering a positive and inclusive environment in a mixed age classroom. Additional responsibilities include collaborating with other teachers and staff, communicating with parents and guardians, and participating in school-wide events and activities. Being a Christian School, we ask a teacher who embraces a Christ centered lifestyle.
Qualifications
- Curriculum Development and Elementary Education skills
- Teaching and Communication skills
- Education background with relevant certifications
- Passion for working with young children and helping them grow academically, socially, and emotionally
- Familiarity with Montessori principles is a plus
- Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse school community
- Montessori Certification
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field
- Experience working in an international school setting is an advantage
