  • Install new electrical systems and wiring according to electrical standards. This includes lighting fixtures, outlets, circuit breakers, and other electrical components as needed for camp facilities and outdoor areas.
  • Perform routine maintenance checks on electrical systems, air conditioning units, and refrigeration systems to ensure proper functioning and energy efficiency.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical and cooling issues, and repair or replace faulty components as necessary.
  • Adhere to all safety regulations and guidelines related to electrical work. Conduct regular inspections to identify potential hazards and take corrective actions to mitigate risks.
  • Respond promptly to electrical emergencies, such as power outages or equipment failures, to minimize disruptions to camp operations. Implement contingency plans as needed to restore electrical services.
  • Maintain an inventory of electrical equipment, tools, and supplies. Coordinate with camp management to procure necessary materials for projects and repairs.
  • Keep detailed records of electrical work performed, including maintenance activities, repairs, and installations. Report any significant issues or concerns to camp management in a timely manner.
  • Any other duty as may be assigned from time to time.

Qualification:

  • Hold a valid electrician’s license issued by the appropriate regulatory authority. Demonstrated knowledge of electrical codes and standards.
  • Strong commitment to safety practices and protocols. Ability to identify and mitigate potential electrical hazards.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 2 Years of experience working as an electrician, preferably in a hotel or Lodge set up.
  • Experience working with air conditioning and refrigeration systems, including installation, maintenance, and repairs
  • Familiarity with a variety of electrical systems, tools, and equipment. Ability to use testing devices and diagnostic tools effectively.
  • Excellent troubleshooting abilities to diagnose and resolve electrical issues efficiently. Resourcefulness in finding solutions to complex problems.
  • Clear and effective communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to interact professionally with camp staff and contractors
  • Capable of performing electrical work in various weather conditions and outdoor environments. Ability to lift heavy objects and work at heights when necessary.
