Job Purpose

  • The Doctor plays a critical frontline role in delivering patient-centred outpatient care. The primary purpose of this position is to provide high-quality clinical services in a cost-effective, efficient, and customer-friendly manner while adhering to national health guidelines and internal standard operating procedures.

Clinical Excellence & Patient Care:

  • Examine, diagnose, and treat patients in strict adherence to Kenya Medical Practitioners and Dentists
  • Council (KMPDC) standards and internal Standard Treatment Guidelines (STGs).
  • Ensure high standards of medical ethics, clinical governance, and evidence-based medicine across all client consultations.

Operational Compliance & Quality Assurance:

  • Ensure full compliance with organizational Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and clinical audit benchmarks.
  • Maintain precise, up-to-date, and confidential electronic medical records (EMR) for all patient interactions.

Health Promotion & Preventive Care:

  • Lead and participate in health promotion activities
  • Advocate for holistic healthcare solutions that support long-term patient wellness and disease management.

Patient Experience & Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Actively engage clients to understand their needs, deliver empathetic care, and provide required support throughout their care journey.
  • Drive service delivery in a customer-friendly manner to maintain high patient satisfaction scores (CSAT) and net promoter ratings.
  • Educational Background: Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB / MBBS) from a recognized university.
  • Professional Registration: Must be registered with the Kenya Medical Practitioners and Dentists Council (KMPDC) and hold a valid, current practicing license
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of active experience as a practicing medical doctor, preferably in an outpatient or acute care setting.
  • Clinical & Technical Proficiency: Strong diagnostic and clinical treatment capabilities aligned with standard medical guidelines.
  • Customer Focus & People Skills: Exceptional interpersonal abilities, active listening skills, and a pleasant, empathetic approach to patient care.
  • Self-Drive & Integrity: Self-motivated professional with a strong work ethic, high emotional intelligence, and unwavering professional integrity.
