Responsible for supporting film projects, developing creative content, assisting with filming and production activities, preparing communication materials, managing digital content, coordinating production teams, and supporting storytelling projects. Requires a relevant qualification in Film, Media, Communication, Journalism, or a related field. The position is based in Nairobi and requires on-site work.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead small crews independently.
• Find the story beyond the brief and ask the right follow-up questions.
• Direct interviews and real people confidently.
• Create strong visual sequences, not just coverage.
• Think like an editor while shooting.
• Adapt quickly when the story or situation changes.
• Work efficiently within tight schedules and budgets.
• Take ownership of a production without needing constant supervision.
• Consistently deliver polished, broadcast-quality work.

You should already have experience directing television, documentaries, factual entertainment, branded films or premium digital content.
