Key Responsibilities:
- Design Research Graphics: Create compelling visuals and layouts for SCOPS reports, including infographics, data visualizations, and participatory design outputs.
- Residency Communications: Develop visual and communication materials for the upcoming R+D Residency 2026, including social media graphics, promotional layouts, and presentation templates.
- Collaboration: Participate in occasional design reviews, internal meetings, and field sessions as needed.
- Documentation: Maintain an organized digital archive of design assets and document the design process for internal learning.
- Any other tasks assigned.
Qualifications:
- Background in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Interaction Design, or related fields (undergraduate students or recent graduates encouraged to apply).
- Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, or Canva.
- Strong visual sensibility and attention to layout, typography, and clarity.
- Strong foundation in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) and Design Thinking.
- Interest in participatory or co-design approaches and social impact projects.
- Comfortable working independently, managing multiple small projects, and meeting deadlines.
- (Preferred) Experience in digital design, website layout, or data visualization.
- Degree or currently pursuing education in Design, HCI, Anthropology, Sociology, or related fields is a plus.
- Women and early-career designers are strongly encouraged to apply.
