Deputy Security Manager Job West Kenya Sugar Kakamega, Kenya
Job Summary
Develop and implement efficient security strategies to safeguard the organisation’s assets and protect the company and maintain a secure work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement security policies and procedures.
- Lead and supervise security personnel.
- Conduct security assessments and audits.
- Coordinate emergency response plans.
- Manage access control systems, CCTV and security equipment.
- Investigate security incidents and implement corrective actions.
- Work closely with HR, IT, law enforcement agencies and security service providers.
- Conduct security awareness training for employees.
- Monitor security risks and recommend improvements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Security Management, Criminal Justice or a related field.
- At least 5 years’ experience in security management, law enforcement or the armed forces.
- Knowledge of CCTV, access control systems and security technologies.
- Ability to develop and implement security policies and procedures.
- Knowledge of Kenyan security and safety regulations.
- Experience in investigations, audits and risk management.
- Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.
- High integrity, confidentiality and professionalism.
- Physically fit and able to respond to emergencies.
