REQUIREMENTS FOR APPOINTMENT
For appointment to this grade, a teacher must: –
- Have served as Deputy Principal III or Senior Master II T-Scale 11 for a minimum period of three (3) years.
- Have obtained a satisfactory rating in the performance appraisal process.
- Have demonstrated ability to supervise, mentor and provide professional support to other teachers; and
- Meet any other requirement deemed necessary by the Commission.
Note: All teachers currently performing the duties of a Principal are encouraged to apply.

Interested candidates, who meet the required qualifications, should submit their applications online through the TSC portal – www.teachersonline.go.ke to be received latest Monday 25th August, 2025 at Midnight.
