Deputy Nursing Services Manager Job
Consolata Hospital, Mathari, Nyeri is seeking to recruit a qualified, experienced, dynamic and highly motivated individual to fill the position of a Deputy Nursing Services Manager.
Job Purpose
To achieve comprehensive, effective, and efficient nursing, care, procedures and processes in line with the nurses Code of Practice, whilst following the hospital Policy/Guidelines.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Shall act on behalf of the Nursing Services Manager during absence.
- Ensuring that the nursing practices conform to NCK, health regulations, codes, and legal requirements.
- Coordinate Unit in-charges in preparation and implementation of annual budget.
- Participate and oversee the nursing shifts hand over reports.
- Participate and guide in setting targets, monitor implementation and preparation of unit reports.
- Conducting staff and unit appraisal.
- Any other duty assigned by the supervisor.
Professional Qualifications
- KRCHN/BSN.
- Valid registration and license by the Nursing Council of Kenya.
- At least 2 years in a managerial position.
- Any other relevant training will be an added advantage.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Nursing and Teaching skills
- Management, leadership, and communication skills
- Customer care skill
- Basic financial management skills
- Team Player
