Deputy Director, Insurance Services – Statutory Management overseeing resolution mechanisms for companies under Statutory Management, requiring a Master’s degree with 15+ years relevant work experience and 3+ years at Assistant Director level, in a public sector insurance environment, on-site role.

Job Purpose

To oversee the development of appropriate resolution mechanisms for companies under Statutory Management pursuant to the Insurance Act.

Qualifications & Experience

• Cumulative service period of fifteen (15) years’ relevant work experience, three (3) of which should have been at the level of Assistant Director, Insurance Services or equivalent in a comparable and relevant position;
• Master’s Degree in the following disciplines: Commerce, Actuarial Science, Finance, Insurance, Economics, Business Administration or its equivalent from recognized and accredited institution.
• Bachelor’s Degree in any of the following disciplines: Commerce, Finance, Actuarial Science, Economics, Business Administration or its equivalent from a recognized and accredited institution.
• Leadership course lasting not less than six (6) weeks from a recognized Institution;
• Proficiency in computer applications; and
• Fulfil the requirements of chapter six of the constitution.
