We are looking to recruit a Contract and Procurement Specialist who will be responsible for managing and optimizing our client’s procurement processes, negotiating contracts, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations. The successful candidate will work closely with suppliers to secure favorable terms, manage supplier relationships, and contribute to the overall strategic goals of the organization through effective cost management and risk analysis. This role requires strong negotiation skills, a deep understanding of market trends, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

  • Draft, review, and issue contract and procurement documents,
  • Manage contract renewals, amendments, and terminations as needed.
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders to understand procurement requirements and plan activities accordingly.
  • Collaborate with finance, legal, and other departments to ensure seamless procurement operations.
  • Develop and implement procurement strategies to meet organizational goals.
  • Maintain accurate records of procurement activities, contracts, and registered suppliers.
  • Prepare regular reports on procurement activities, cost savings, and supplier performance.
  • Implement cost-reduction initiatives while maintaining quality of services rendered/goods supplied.

Job Qualifications:

  • A bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, finance, or a related field.
  • At least 3-5 years of experience in procurement, contract management, or a related field.
  • Experience in negotiating contracts and managing supplier relationships.
  • Strong analytical and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Understanding of procurement processes, contract law, and supply chain management.
  • Familiarity with industry-specific regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
