Role Overview

• eWATER is looking for a highly capable and strategic Senior Communications & Marketing Manager to lead the development and delivery of our marketing, communications and impact storytelling strategy. This is a senior, hands-on role for someone who can think strategically, work in partnership with multiple stakeholders, and execute to a high standard. The successful candidate will be responsible for shaping how eWATER communicates its work, impact and growth across Kenya, Tanzania and The Gambia. Key stakeholders/ audiences include rural communities, funders, sponsors and eWATER colleagues.
• You’ll lead our communications and marketing strategy, create compelling stories from the field, manage our digital channels, produce high-quality written and visual content, support funder and stakeholder

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree
• Experience with creating and delivering a Marketing & Communications plan for a fast growing start-up (tech start up experience preferred)
• Strong photography and videography skills (portfolio required) and experience growing a brands social media presence through engagement and content creation
• Excellent writing and communication abilities
• Experience in data collection and impact reporting
• Field experience conducting surveys, capturing stories and engaging rural communities in Kenya
• Proficiency with Canva or similar design tools
