Commis Chef assisting with food preparation and supporting the Chef team during service, requiring a culinary qualification with 1-2 years experience in a professional kitchen preferably in a 4- or 5-star hotel, in a hospitality environment, on-site role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting with food preparation for our restaurants, functions and hotel operations
- Preparing ingredients and basic dishes to the required standard
- Supporting the Chef team during busy service periods
- Maintaining a clean, organised and hygienic kitchen
- Following food safety and hygiene procedures
- Assisting with stock preparation and kitchen organisation
- Working as part of a team to ensure smooth and efficient kitchen operations
Qualifications
- Culinary qualification or training preferred.
- 1–2 years’ experience in a professional kitchen, preferably in a 4- or 5-star hotel.
- Basic knowledge of food preparation and kitchen operations.
- Good teamwork, willingness to learn, and ability to work under pressure.
