About the Role
We are seeking a Co-Founder & Interim CEO: a servant-hearted, Christ-like leader with experience in special needs education and global learning systems. This is a volunteer role for someone who is called, not just hired, into a God-given assignment.
You will join the Founder in building The Incredibles from the ground up. You will be a co-architect and implementor of a vision already set in motion. Together, we will build a school that gives children with ASD and exceptional traits the same opportunities, privileges, and spiritual covering within the framework of the Kingdom of God.
Key Responsibilities Strategic Leadership
- Co-lead the organization alongside the Founder by translating our God-given vision and blueprint into tangible action.
- Develop the roadmap for institutional development, team structuring, and educational design.
Team Building & Culture
- Help build the founding team of educators, therapists, and administrators who are aligned in faith, mission, and excellence.
- Establish a Kingdom culture marked by grace, integrity, inclusion, and obedience to Christ.
Program Development
- Develop and implement individualized, inclusive learning models rooted in Christian values and global best practices (Montessori, IB, Reggio Emilia, Finnish model, etc.) to form Kingdom-Based Curriculum.
- Ensure that spiritual formation, therapeutic support, and creative expression are fully integrated into the curriculum.
Operational Execution
- Build systems for launch: admissions, fundraising, finance, communication, and remote operations.
- Develop partnerships and structure the foundation for physical campus development in future phases.
- Lead early-stage fundraising efforts, including donor engagement, grant research, proposal writing, and Kingdom-aligned partnerships to support school launch and sustainability.
Partnership & Advocacy
Represent the school to key partners, donors, education leaders, and the wider Christian and neurodiversity communities.
Be a voice for policy transformation in Kenya and beyond on behalf of neurodiverse children.
Who We’re Looking For
- Experienced Leader: 5-7+ years in education, ideally with experience in special needs, inclusive education, or school founding.
- Global Education Insight: Deep familiarity with international education models and ability to contextualize them for Kenya and East Africa.
- Christ-Follower: A person whose life and leadership reflect Christ: compassionate, humble, prayerful, and Spirit-led.
- Servant-Hearted: You are called to serve and to uplift children who are often ignored or misunderstood.
- Vision Executor: You’re a doer, skilled at taking an idea and turning it into reality, structure, and impact.
- Collaborative Spirit: Able to work side-by-side with the Founder, supporting her role as Vision Bearer and Spiritual Architect.
