Job Overview:
We are seeking a proactive Clinical Officer Lead to support our client’s healthcare facility. This role combines clinical care and leadership to ensure quality patient services, efficient operations, and strong team performance.
You will oversee daily clinic activities, support clinical staff, ensure adherence to protocols, and drive operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Clinical Service Delivery
- Provide diagnosis, treatment, and management for clinic and online patients
- Ensure care aligns with MOH guidelines and protocols
- Manage emergencies and referrals appropriately
- Maintain accurate EMR documentation
- Provide patient counselling, education, and preventive care
- Support telemedicine consultations and clinical navigation
Drugs & Supplies
- Maintain optimal stock levels and FIFO system
- Prevent stock expiries and losses
- Ensure availability of essential medicines and supplies
Clinic Operations & Leadership
- Oversee daily clinic operations and SOP compliance
- Supervise clinical staff and CHWs
- Resolve operational and patient issues promptly
- Support onboarding, training, and CMEs
- Manage petty cash and ensure proper reconciliation
- Ensure functionality of clinic assets
Financial Oversight
- Support budgeting and cost control
- Track revenue and support target achievement
- Assist with claims and financial reporting
- Ensure compliance with financial procedures
Community & Growth
- Support outreach and community engagement
- Contribute to patient growth initiatives
- Identify service improvement opportunities
Qualifications & Experience
- Diploma in Clinical Medicine and Surgery
- Valid CO registration and practicing license
- 3+ years clinical experience in a busy facility
- Strong clinical decision-making skills
- Experience leading a team
- Strong knowledge of MOH guidelines
