Chief Financial Officer Job Tropikal

Finance Jobs, Tropikal Jobs Responsible for providing strategic financial leadership, overseeing financial planning and reporting, managing treasury and cash flow, strengthening financial controls, supporting commercial decision-making, managing financial risks, ensuring regulatory compliance, and protecting company assets while supporting sustainable and profitable growth. Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field, CPA or equivalent professional qualification. The position is based in Nairobi and requires on-site work.

Role Overview: Provide strategic financial leadership, protect assets, support sustainable growth, lead financial planning, reporting, treasury, commercial finance, risk management, and tax compliance for Tropikal Brands Africa Limited and sister company Tropikal Spaces Limited.

Key Responsibilities:

• Financial strategy & planning, budgeting, forecasting, and investment evaluation.
• Financial reporting, accounting, management accounts, reconciliations, and annual audits.
• Commercial finance, manufacturing performance, product costing, pricing, and margin optimization.
• Treasury, working capital, cash flow, credit control, and foreign exchange/interest rate risk management.
• Tax statutory compliance, filings, eTIMS, audits, and payroll remittances.
• Systems & process improvement, internal controls, and risk management.
• Finance oversight for Tropikal Spaces Limited and investments transactions/team leadership.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or a related field (Master’s degree is an advantage).
• CPA(K), ACCA, or equivalent professional accountancy qualification with active membership in good standing and compliance with Kenyan professional requirements.
• At least 10 years of progressive finance experience, including at least 5 years in senior finance leadership.
• Strong manufacturing/FMCG experience (costing, inventory, commercial finance) and Sage X3 ERP proficiency.
