Key Responsibilities
- Monitor live CCTV feeds across warehouse depots, logistics yards, and event locations to promptly identify and report any suspicious activity or safety hazards.
- Maintain accurate and timely logs and reports of all incidents, equipment faults, and security breaches.
- Retrieve, review, and preserve CCTV footage for investigations and audits, ensuring compliance with evidence standards.
- Conduct regular system checks on cameras and recording equipment, reporting any faults immediately for corrective action.
- Liaise effectively with on-site security, logistics, and operations teams to coordinate responses to incidents.
Requirements
- Diploma in Criminology, Security Management, or a related field (a Bachelor’s degree is an added advantage).
- Minimum of one year of experience in CCTV monitoring or control room operations.
- Proven familiarity with CCTV systems, video management software (VMS/NVR/DVR), and incident reporting.
- Strong observational skills with a keen eye for detail and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Excellent communication skills in both English and Kiswahili.
- Valid Certificate of Good Conduct and compliance with all Kenyan security industry requirements.
