neutrality by developing high-integrity carbon offset projects and connecting them to
global markets. We are seeking a technically skilled Carbon Project Development Associate
to support the end-to-end development of carbon offset projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Identification & Feasibility
- Environmental & Regulatory Compliance (NEMA Focus)
- Carbon Project Design & Documentation
- Stakeholder Engagement
- Project Implementation & Monitoring
- Market & Technical Support
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in, Environmental Science, Forestry / Natural Resource
- Management, Climate Change / Environmental Engineering
- NEMA Lead Expert Certification
- 2-5 years of experience in Carbon project development, Environmental impact
- assessments (EIA/ESIA), Climate/environmental consulting
- Experience with carbon standards such as: Verra (VCS),Gold Standard ,Plan Vivo
- Puro.earth is an advantage
- Strong understanding of: MRV systems, GIS tools (QGIS/ArcGIS) and Data analysis
- and reporting is an advantage
