  • Our client in the manufacturing sector is seeking a driven Business Development Officer to support growth across its plastic packaging portfolio, with a strong focus on stackable crates and industrial packaging solutions.
  • The ideal candidate will be responsible for expanding market share, building strong customer relationships, and driving revenue growth through strategic sales of value-added products including IML (In-Mould Labelling) and stretch solutions.
  • Drive sales growth of stackable crates and plastic packaging solutions
  • Identify, develop, and convert new business opportunities while growing existing accounts
  • Conduct regular client visits, presentations, and follow-ups to close deals
  • Manage and track sales pipeline, forecasts, and performance targets
  • Provide excellent after-sales support and resolve customer issues promptly
  • Gather and analyze market intelligence on competitors, pricing, and trends
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer requirements are met
  • Deliver against assigned revenue, volume, and margin targets
  • Promote and upsell IML and stretch packaging solutions where applicable

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
  • 3–5 years’ experience in sales/business development within the plastic packaging industry
  • Strong understanding of industrial packaging solutions
  • Exposure to stackable crates / returnable packaging is highly desirable
  • Experience with IML and/or stretch products is an added advantage
