In this role, you’ll identify and pursue new business opportunities, foster strong client relationships, and contribute to the overall strategic direction of the company. A deep understanding of the brewing industry and strong skills in sales, networking, and negotiation are essential.

Market Research & Opportunity Identification

  • Analyze industry trends, emerging markets, and competitor activities
  • Identify and evaluate new client segments and market opportunities

Lead Generation & Qualification

  • Develop strategies to generate and qualify high-potential leads
  • Prioritize opportunities with the highest business value

Client Relationship Development

  • Establish and maintain trusted relationships with key decision-makers
  • Understand client needs and deliver customized solutions

Sales Presentations & Proposals

  • Prepare persuasive proposals and impactful sales presentations
  • Clearly communicate value propositions and negotiate beneficial agreements

Sales Cycle Management & Target Achievement

  • Manage the entire sales cycle from prospecting to client onboarding
  • Consistently meet or exceed sales and revenue targets

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Collaborate with marketing, product, and operations teams to align strategies
  • Share market intelligence and customer feedback to inform product and service improvements

Networking & Industry Representation

  • Represent the company at industry events and functions
  • Expand professional networks and maintain a strong industry presence

Reporting & Performance Analysis

  • Track sales performance and pipeline activity using CRM systems
  • Provide actionable insights and regular updates to leadership

Strategic Contribution

  • Contribute to shaping the business development strategy
  • Recommend approaches for market expansion and long-term growth
  • Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Brewing Science, Business, or a related field (Master’s is a plus)
  • 3–7 years of technical sales experience — preferably in brewing or food ingredients
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets
  • In-depth knowledge of brewing processes, formulations, and key ingredients
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills — able to talk shop with master brewers and present to executives alike
  • Analytical and strategic thinker with a hands-on approach
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Willingness to travel for customer meetings, demos, and industry events
  • Deep understanding of the brewing industry’s dynamics and competitive landscape
