Bata Kenya is seeking an experienced professional to manage and expand their collection portfolio, focusing on seasonal OTB (Open-to-Buy) preparation and achieving turnover targets.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Financial Engineering, Computer Science, Economics, Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field. A Master’s degree is considered a plus.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of work experience, with at least 3 years in a similar role.
• Technical Skills: Proven proficiency in at least 2 statistical programming languages for big data analysis.
• Certifications: Certification in professional courses such as CFA, CAIA, OCIFA, FMVA, or BIDA.
• Leadership: Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to lead and inspire a team.
• Competencies: Team player with good analytical skills, proactive nature, and good market knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Data Analysis: Collect, analyze, and interpret data related to production, sales, inventory, and operational performance.
• Modeling: Assist in developing data models and implementing data management strategies for efficient integration and retrieval.
• Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams to establish data quality standards and perform audits to rectify discrepancies.
• Technical Support: Support the technical team in statistical analysis and predictive modeling using Excel, Python, R-software, SQL, and Power BI.
• Reporting: Develop reports, dashboards, and performance metrics to support management decision-making.
• Process Improvement: Identify trends, gaps, and improvement opportunities within manufacturing and business processes.
• Business Support: Work closely with production, supply chain, finance, and sales teams; support budgeting, forecasting, and cost analysis activities.
• Integrity: Ensure data accuracy and integrity across all systems.
