Business Analyst Job Agile Business Solutions
Looking for an IT job in Kenya? Agile Business Solutions is hiring a Business Analyst to gather and analyze business requirements and deliver technology-driven solutions. The role is based in Nairobi and experience in business analysis is required.
Role Summary
The Business Analyst will serve as the critical link between clients, business stakeholders, and technical teams, ensuring business needs are translated into practical, high-impact technology solutions. He/She will lead requirements gathering, solution design, software implementation, testing, user training and post-implementation support for complex projects. Beyond project delivery, The Business Analyst will contribute to continuous product improvement, mentor junior Business Analysts, and support pre-sales and solution scoping to drive successful client outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather, analyze, and document business requirements.
- Translate client needs into effective system solutions.
- Support solution design, testing, implementation, and user training.
- Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and post-go-live support.
- Engage clients, manage stakeholders, and contribute to successful project delivery.
- Support pre-sales activities and mentor junior Business Analysts.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business IT, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in Business Analysis, Software Implementation, or Systems Consulting.
- Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Experience with SQL and business process analysis is an added advantage.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.
- Willingness to travel when required.
