  • Set up, operate, and manage outdoor broadcast (OB) transmission systems.
  • Possess technical knowledge of VSAT, encoders, modulators, amplifiers and their maintenance
  • Implement and manage video routing systems to ensure efficient signal; routing and control
  • Ensure full compliance with industry broadcast standards and regulatory compliance
  • Perform routine maintenance, diagnostics and timely upgrades of OBs.
  • Provide technical support and on the spot training to the production team when necessary.
  • Collaborate with broadcast engineering and technical staff to enhance work flows and staff efficiency.
  • Maintain confidential and comprehensive equipment and accurate documentation of OB systems
  • Adhere to safety standards and broadcast deadlines.
  • Bachelor’s degree/Diploma in Electronics/Telecommunication engineering or related field from a recognized institution
  • Minimum of 3 years experience working with OB vans, preferably with set ups involving more than 5 system cameras
  • Hands-on experience with routing systems, video routers, audio mixers and more
  • Knowledge in live sports broadcasting and signal flow
  • Thorough understanding of broadcast technology standards and best practice.
  • Strong analytical and critical problem-solving skills
  • Able to perform effectively under pressure in a live environment
  • Excellent communication skills with team-oriented attitude
