Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Branch Manager, Logbook Loan Product, based in Nairobi County, Kenya. The Branch Manager will oversee branch operations, implement growth strategies of the logbook product, supervise staff, and ensure excellent customer service. Day-to-day tasks include managing financial targets, building client relationships, maintaining compliance with regulations, and overseeing effective financial transactions. The Branch Manager will also lead the team, provide training, and ensure the branch achieves its performance goals.

Qualifications

  • Strong leadership, team management, and conflict resolution skills
  • Financial management, strategic planning, and operational analysis experience
  • Customer relationship management and excellent interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in data analysis, budgeting, and report preparation
  • Sales, business development, and marketing expertise
  • Familiarity with microfinance practices and financial regulatory standards
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field
  • Proven track record of meeting targets and driving branch success
  • Ability to work independently and motivate a team in a dynamic environment
