The Audit Officer supports internal audit functions aimed at strengthening accountability, financial integrity and operational efficiency within the Office.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Participating in internal audit assignments across departments
- Reviewing financial records and operational procedures for compliance
- Assessing effectiveness of internal control systems and risk management processes
- Identifying operational risks and areas requiring improvement
- Preparing audit reports and documenting audit findings
- Supporting follow-up on implementation of audit recommendations
- Assisting in monitoring financial and operational compliance processes
- Supporting continuous improvement of internal audit practices
