Audio Technician/ Officer I Job

Basic Salary Kshs. – 41,320
House Allowance – 12,800
Commuter Allowance – 5,000
Leave Allowance – 6,000 (Payable once in a Year)
Mortgage & Car Loan – As per SRC guidelines

  • Assisting in recording proceedings for County Assembly sittings at the chamber and committee activities;
  • Assisting in taking proper notes during committee proceedings;
  • Assisting in audio segmentation and archiving of audio files and records;
  • Assisting in installing, maintaining, repairing and monitoring audio equipment in County Assembly chambers; assisting in transcribing assembly proceedings as necessary;
  • Assisting in operating the Public Address system for its effective functioning;
  • Assisting in providing audio recording services to plenary sitting and assembly committees in field work, site visits and public hearings to provide accurate information; and
  • Keeping abreast with changing technology in recording and audio services.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering, Audio Engineering, Sound Technology, Television or Radio Production, Computer Science, Mass Communication, Multimedia Studies or related field;

OR

  • Postgraduate Diploma in Electrical or Electronic Engineering, Audio Engineering, Sound Technology, Television or Radio production, Computer Science, Mass Communication, Multimedia Studies or related field; and
  • Certificate in Computer Applications from a recognised institution
