Candidate Requirements
- Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) degree from a recognized institution.
- Postgraduate Diploma from the Kenya School of Law.
- Admission as an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya with a valid practicing certificate.
- 3-5 years post-admission experience in legal practice.
- Proven experience handling litigation and insurance defense matters.
- Working knowledge of conveyancing and commercial transactions.
- Excellent legal drafting and research skills.
- Strong advocacy and negotiation abilities.
- Exceptional attention to detail and analytical thinking.
- Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet strict deadlines.
- High standards of professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality
Key Responsibilities
- Manage litigation matters from inception to conclusion.
- Represent clients before courts, tribunals, and alternative dispute resolution forums.
- Handle insurance defense claims and provide strategic legal advice.
- Draft pleadings, legal opinions, contracts, and commercial agreements.
- Support conveyancing transactions, including due diligence and document preparation.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships while ensuring exceptional service delivery.
