Technician Jobs, KICD Jobs. Assistant Studio Technical Operator III Jobs. Assistant Studio Technical Operator III operates studio AV equipment and assists in technical recording setups, requiring a Diploma in Telecommunications/Electronics/Media Tech and 1+ years experience.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Coordinating, organizing and prioritizing office activities and operations to enhance efficiency and compliance;
- Set up and dismantle studio and control room equipment;
- Operate basic audio and visual recording equipment during live or pre-recorded sessions;
- Handle cables, lighting, microphones, and signal routing under guidance;
- Log broadcast sessions and maintain studio logs;
- Perform basic cleaning and equipment maintenance routines;
- Label and archive recordings and digital content;
- Report faults and escalating technical issues.
Requirements
- Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education mean grade C (Plain) or its equivalent qualification;
- Diploma in Audio-Visual Technology, Studio Operations, Broadcast Engineering, or related field from a recognized institution;
- Proficiency in computer applications.
