Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include supporting survey and census fieldwork, monitoring data quality at collection points, assisting with logistics and field coordination, and contributing to the verification and validation of collected data. The role requires regular interaction with field teams, local stakeholders, and supervisors.

Assistant Statisticians in Field Services play a critical role in ensuring that data collection activities are conducted efficiently, ethically, and in line with established guidelines. The position may involve extensive field travel and engagement with diverse communities.

This role provides practical exposure to large-scale data collection operations and contributes directly to the reliability of national statistics.
