Technician Jobs, KICD Jobs. Assistant Printing & Publishing Technician III Jobs. Assistant Printing & Publishing Technician III assists in operating printing machinery and pre/post-press tasks, requiring a Diploma in Printing Technology/Publishing and 1+ years experience.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Prepare and load paper, adhesives and other production materials, and assist in setting up printing presses and pre-press equipment.
- Monitor printing quality against approved colour charts and print samples, and report defects or deviations for corrective action.
- Clean, maintain and safely operate printing equipment, and promptly report faults, breakdowns and maintenance requirements.
- Label, organise and archive printed materials, maintain basic production records and logs, and support efficient production workflow.
Requirements
- K.C.S.E mean grade C (Minus) or equivalent.
- Diploma in Printing Technology or related.
- Proficiency in computer applications.
