Job Specifications
Duties and responsibilities at this level will entail: –
- Monitoring all printing jobs; preparing work schedule sheets;
- Preparing machines; loading schedule for letter press and litho;
- Reporting faulty machines;
- Handling or proof-reading classified printing jobs;
- Ensuring quality control; supervising activities of Book Production,
- Security Printing, Lithographic Printing, and General Printing;
- Designing, programming and monitoring printing development programmes; and
- Ensuring implementation of planned printing activities.
Person Specifications
For appointment to this grade, an officer must have:
- KCSE C- (Minus);
- Diploma in Printing Technology or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution;
- Computer literacy;
- Fulfill the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution.
