Assistant Executive – Trade Representative Job Pwani Oil
Sales & Marketing Jobs, Pwani Oil Jobs. Responsible for promoting and selling company products within the assigned territory, managing relationships with distributors and retailers, identifying new business opportunities, collecting market intelligence, implementing sales and trade marketing activities, achieving sales targets, and preparing regular sales reports. Requires a Diploma or Degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field. The position is based in Murang’a and requires fieldwork.
Key Responsibilities
- Achieve daily sales targets and drive sales volumes in your assigned territory.
- Ensure our products are available, visible, and well-placed in all retail outlets (Dukas, kiosks, beauty shops and pharmacies).
- Introduce and promote new product developments (NPDs) and drive listings.
- Execute in-store merchandising, POSM placement, and trade activation plans.
- Build strong relationships with retailers and provide excellent customer support.
- Collect and share market and competitor insights.
- Accurately capture sales data, outlet visits, stock levels and reports via the Sales App.
Qualifications
- 2–3 years’ experience in field sales, route-to-market execution, or retail distribution within the FMCG sector.
- Strong selling, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- A customer-centric, proactive, and results-oriented mindset.
- Solid understanding of retail environments and merchandising standards.
- Must have a valid driving license with at least 2 years driving experience.
- Proficiency in using Sales Apps and Microsoft Office tools.
- Diploma in Sales & Marketing, Business Administration, Commerce, or a related field.
- Familiarity with the Murang’a region is an added advantage.
