Assistant Executive – Trade Representative Job Pwani Oil

Responsible for driving sales across assigned routes, achieving daily targets, ensuring product availability and visibility in retail outlets, building retailer relationships, promoting new products, executing merchandising and activation activities, capturing sales and market data, and managing trade activities responsibly. Requires a Diploma in Sales and Marketing, Business Administration, Commerce, or a related field, with 2–3 years’ experience. The position is based in Limuru and requires field-based work.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive sales volumes and achieve daily targets across your assigned route.
• Ensure products are available, visible, and well-placed in all retail outlets (Dukas, beauty shops, and pharmacies).
• Build strong relationships with retailers to enhance brand loyalty and sales performance.
• List and promote new product developments (NPDs) with timely introduction and feedback collection.
• Execute in-store merchandising, POSM placement, and activation plans to boost visibility and sell-out.
• Capture sales data, stock levels, and market insights accurately through the Sales App.
• Uphold company values by ensuring compliance, ethical conduct, and responsible management of trade floats and company assets.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of experience in field sales, route-to-market execution, or retail distribution within the FMCG sector.
• Strong selling, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Solid understanding of retail environments and merchandising standards.
• Must have a driving license with a minimum of 2 years of driving experience.
• Proficiency in using Sales Apps and Microsoft Office tools.
• A customer-centric, proactive, and results-oriented mindset.
• Diploma in Sales & Marketing, Business Administration, Commerce, or a related field.
• Familiarity with the region.
