Assistant Executive – Customer Service Job Pwani Oil

Sales & Marketing Jobs, Pwani Oil Jobs. Responsible for responding to customer inquiries, processing orders, handling complaints, coordinating deliveries, updating customer records, following up on outstanding issues, monitoring customer satisfaction, and preparing customer service reports. Requires a Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Customer Service, Marketing, or a related field. The position is based in Nakuru and requires on-site work.

Key Responsibilities

• Proactively engage with customers via phone, email, SMS and WhatsApp.
• Process customer orders accurately and ensure timely conversion.
• Provide regular updates on delivery plans and resolve order-related issues.
• Build and maintain strong, long-term customer and distributor relationships.
• Gather market intelligence on competitor terms, offers and pricing.
• Support new product development and drive customer uptake.
• Maintain accurate records and prepare performance reports.
• Support account management, debt collections and system clean-up.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Business Administration, Marketing & Sales, Management, Communication, Business Analytics or a related field.
• At least 2 years’ experience in customer service or a related role within the FMCG industry (preferred).
• Strong communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and customer relationship management (CRM) systems.
• Customer-centric, proactive and results-oriented mindset.
• Good analytical and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of ERP systems is an added advantage.
