The Area Sales Manager will be responsible for handling the Company’s strategic group of clients in the assigned region and ensure that the set sales targets are achieved in a consistent manner.

Responsibilities
- Effectively Manage, coach and mentor team of Sales Reps to achieve the set company targets
- Effectively Manage, Develop and Grow the Channel Partners in the region to achieve set company targets
- Ensure that there is an effective route to consumer to ensure the availability and visibility of Tropikal Brands Limited brands in the retail landscape
- Ensure that all outlets in the region are mapped and sequenced within the Sales Reps and Distributor Sales Reps route plans
- Manage price changes and price compliance at retail
- Grow outlet universe by recruiting new outlets and listing of products as per the set target
- Monitor competitors’ activities and share insights with management whilst taking corrective action
- Timely execution of consumer and trade promotions in order to engage the consumers on the product benefits and awareness.
Qualifications
- Minimum of a Degree in Business-related field.
- Minimum 5 years’ sales experience in FMCG of which 2 of those years must have worked as the Area Sales Manager in the FMCG sector.
- Demonstrable experience of working with targets for self, team and the distributors.
- Good understanding of the general trade retail landscape.
- Strategic thinker.
- Customer/Client Engagement.
