Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for an Area Sales Executive located in Kenya. The Area Sales Executive will be responsible for managing and growing secondary sales within the assigned territory. Daily responsibilities include building and nurturing client relationships, identifying and pursuing new sales opportunities, achieving sales targets, coordinating with the sales team, and maintaining accurate sales records in salesforce App. The role also involves understanding market trends, monitoring competitors, and providing regular reports on sales activities.
Qualifications
- Proven skills in Sales, Business Development, and Customer Relationship Management
- Effective Communication, Negotiation, and Presentation skills
- Ability to meet sales targets, work under pressure, and handle multiple tasks efficiently
- Previous experience in the FMCG industry or a similar sector is preferred
- Diploma or bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business Administration, or a related field
- 2–5 years of FMCG sales or territory management experience
- Experience in selling Edible Oils, Fats & Margarine, HPC & Laundry products, Beverages, Noodles, Cereals & Snacks
- Strong understanding of Kenyan trade channels (General Trade, Wholesale)
