Overall, Purpose of the Job
The candidate will be responsible for developing videos and animations of training manuals, user guides on edible insect farming and insect-based product development and utilization, and commercialization under the Insects for Food, Feed and Other Uses program (INSEFF).

Specific Duties
- Develop audio-visual and animated manuals and guides on edible insects farming for food, feed and other products.
- Develop cartoon videos and short films for dissemination of INSEFF program technologies.
- Aid in the maintenance of the INSEFF program website through regular update of content/information, in liaison with the communication unit.
- Participate in the dissemination of INSEFF program technologies through online/digital platforms
- Assist in the training farmers and other stakeholders on edible insect farming
- Dissemination of INSEFF program technologies through workshops and conferences.
- Preparation of progress reports.
- Any other responsibility assigned by the supervisor or senior INSEFF program team.
Requirements/Qualifications
- Diploma in Animation, Videography or relevant field with one year of relevant experience.
- At least 2 years of field experience film development and direction, animation, translation, modeling, video editing, and photography.
- Experience in website maintenance and use of different social media platforms.
- Experience in community engagement, storytelling and edible insect farming.
Other Desirable Attributes
- Knowledge and skills in film development and direction, 2D and 3D animation, video editing, modelling, script writing and translation.
- Fluency in English, Swahili and other languages is essential.
- Computer literacy, online content development and social media.
- High degree of organization, adaptability, and prioritization.
- Good reporting and communication skills.
