AI Prototyping & Automation Intern Job Kwara

IT Jobs. Kwara jobs

On a daily basis you will:

  • Rapidly Prototype Features: Build beautiful, interactive AI-powered prototypes (using tools like Lovable/Bolt/Make/N8N) — think smart loan recommenders, personalized dashboards, automated KYC assistants, or fraud alert systems.
  • Automate Internal Magic: Spot repetitive tasks (report generation, data reconciliation, support triage, compliance checks) and create no/low-code automations that save hours — turning manual work into intelligent, reliable flows.
  • Explore Core Banking Superpowers: Experiment with integrating AI models into our platform: real-time credit scoring, transaction anomaly detection, customer behavior insights, dashboards — all while learning secure, scalable fintech engineering.
  • Collaborate & Ship Fast: Work in a small, energetic team with a product manager, engineer and operators. Run quick experiments, demo prototypes weekly, and iterate based on real feedback.
  • Grow & Learn Out Loud: Document your wins, present to the team, and absorb best practices in AI for fintech — from prompt engineering to ethical AI in financial services.

Requirements

  • Eager to create: you immediately spot areas that can be improved, and you have ideas on how to bring that into practice
  • Perseverance: what you’ll do is new and hard, so you should be willing to continue to try until the result is great, even when there are setbacks
  • Excitement for prototyping tools (Lovable.dev, Make.com etc.): no expert level needed, just eagerness to learn
  • Passionate about AI and fintech’s power to change lives in Africa
  • Coding skills: Studying / recently graduated in Computer Science, Data Science, AI, Engineering, or similar
  • Our interviews and case studies are designed to test you actively for this. You should only apply if you are ready for an intense interview process, including a take-home assessment and an in-person session at the Kwara House in Lavington, which requires preparation, role play and active engagement with our Managing Director and COO.

We also care about the below secondary requirements:

  • Strong problem-solving skills (you identify problems and can break them down into bite-sized chunks)
  • Excellent communication skills (you can explain tech to non-tech folks)
  • Bonus superpowers: Experience with generative AI, APIs, cloud basics (AWS/GCP), or no-code/low-code tools
  • Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, supportive startup vibe
