Agricultural Extension-Consultant Trainer-Nairobi Job IRES

Agricultural Jobs, IRES Jobs. Agricultural Extension-Consultant Trainer leads training in agricultural extension services and adoption practices, requires a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Agriculture, Agribusiness, or related field, and at least 5 years of specialized professional experience. Full-time role in Nairobi.

Minimum Requirements:

• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Agriculture, Agribusiness, Animal Science, Veterinary Science, Fisheries, Aquaculture, Agricultural Economics, Agricultural Engineering, Food Science or a related field.
• At least 5 years of relevant professional experience in your area of specialisation.
• Demonstrated technical expertise and practical experience in the relevant agricultural field.
• Experience delivering professional training, consultancy or technical advisory services.
• Strong communication, presentation, facilitation and report-writing skills.
• Experience working with farmers, agribusinesses, government institutions, NGOs or development partners is an added advantage.
• Training of Trainers (ToT) certification is also desirable.

Mode of engagement:

• Successful candidates will be engaged as external consultant trainers on a need basis.
• Assignments may involve training delivery, curriculum development, workshops, technical advisory services and related consultancy work.
• The scope, duration and professional fees will be discussed during engagement
