This role is responsible for overseeing end-to-end operations, managing administrative functions, and supporting executive coordination to ensure smooth business execution from order confirmation to export delivery.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operational activities including procurement, supplier coordination, packing, and logistics.
  • Manage supplier database and maintain strong farm-level relationships.
  • Issue and monitor Local Purchase Orders (LPOs).
  • Coordinate order fulfillment from confirmation to dispatch.
  • Ensure timely export documentation and compliance.
  • Develop operational workflows and standard operating procedures.
  • Prepare operational budgets in coordination with Finance.
  • Monitor delivery timelines and supplier performance.
  • Act as Company Secretary by maintaining official records, contracts, and board documentation.
  • Provide administrative and executive support to the Managing Director.
  • Escalate operational risks and supply disruptions promptly.

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Agribusiness, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in fresh produce export operations.
  • Strong understanding of export logistics and documentation.
  • Excellent organizational and coordination skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with international produce markets (Europe or Middle East).
  • Knowledge of fresh produce quality standards and compliance requirements.

  • Based in Nairobi CBD office. Occasional supplier visits and operational field inspections required.
  • Reporting Structure
  • Reports directly to the Managing Director.
